It's almost Christmas! The most wonderful time of the year. There are a lot of things to do and a lot of movies to watch. So here are some of our favorites that we watch every single holiday season.
1.Home Alone
If you haven’t seen Home Alone yet, I recommend you doing so. Immediately. This movie is full of Christmas spirit, comedy and adventures.
Plot: An 8-year old troublemaker must protect his home from a pair of burglars when he is accidentally left home alone by his family during Christmas vacation.
2.Mickey's Christmas Carol
Mickey's Christmas Carol is a lovely shot movie with a very beautiful plot. It's a Disney movie adaptation of a classic so it is worth to see for sure!
Plot: The classic Disney animated characters play the roles in this animated retelling of the Charles Dickens masterpiece.
3.The Polar Express
I remember the first time I saw this movie. It was so Christmassy and looking terrific. This movie can easily get you into the Christmas mood.
Plot: A young boy embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express. During his adventure he learns about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas.
4.How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Honestly I always thought the Grinch was mean and scary but this movie is still somehow beautiful. Also Taylor Momsen is adorable as a kid!
Plot: On the outskirts of Whoville, there lives a green, revenge-seeking Grinch who plans on ruining the Christmas holiday for all of the citizens of the town.
5.Gremlins
Gremlins is one of my favorite movie of all time! This comedy-horror movie is just amazing. It's funny, cute, inventive but also dark and violent!
Plot: A boy inadvertently breaks 3 important rules concerning his new pet and unleashes a horde of malevolently mischievous monsters on a small town.
6.Love Actually
Probably the most classic festive romantic comedy ever. This could be the perfect “date night” Christmas movie.
Plot: Follows the lives of eight very different couples in dealing with their love lives in various loosely interrelated tales all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London, England.
7.Elf
Elf is a very festive comedy movie for all ages. Perfect movie for Christmas time. Will Ferrell is so lovable as an elf.
Plot: After inadvertently wreaking havoc on the elf community due to his ungainly size, a man raised as an elf at the North Pole is sent to the U.S. in search of his true identity.
8.It's a Wonderful Life
The real Christmas classic!
There's not much to say about the movie, except that you should watch at least once in your life.
Plot: An angel helps a compassionate but despairingly frustrated businessman by showing what life would have been like if he never existed.
I hope you like this list. Don't forget to comment about your favorite movies!
